Who is planning to go where?

Heading off this Thursday on a one-way ticket to Winnipeg, picking up a new car, and taking a leisurely road trip back on the Yellowhead Hwy to Victoria, hitting all the "hot" birding spots. After a couple more trips for family visits to Wpg, am planning 3 - 3 1/2 months in Oaxaca this winter. After a couple of rigorous touring trips, am ready for a stay-in-one-place trip. Hope to learn Spanish, volunteer ESL teach, bird, and generally enjoy what looks to be an extremely interesting place.

Using up Aeroplan points and going to London for 2 12 months (I'd prefer to go somewhere more interesting, but can't due to lingering health problems). Hopefully might be able to get to Copenhagen to catch up with another poster from another branch of the tree who lives in Solomons. She's going home (Sweden) for several months and we decided that Copenhagen was possibly the easiest place for both of us to meet. That's up the air though, just a possibility, as is meeting yet another poster from the same tree branch as the first one, in Hungary, if he ever gets back from Indonesia in time, or another friend in Barcelona. Or I might just vege out in Norwich for the most part.

The planned trips to Queen Charlotte Islands, Yellowknife, NWT, and Old Crow, Yukon, are still in the cards, but not this summer.

Just today started planning for a return to QCI-Langara Island to be exact

Sigh - I was planning to go to QCI but unfortunately had to switch to the UK instead. Maybe next year, I really want to go there. Nice pics, hardnose.

Have the Qantas tickets for Auckland.

Now have to figure what we will do for 7 weeks in the middle of their spring.
