What's going on? Thorn Tree maintenance?

I tried to get on earlier and the site was down for maintenance. Now that I've gotten on, I'm missing a couple of things.

First, I can no longer find any way to contact a moderator, and there is no indication of who the moderator is.

Second, there was a sticky on senior discounts, and it is goen. It happens that it is a thread I started, but that's not the issue. I was going to look for something I read there. I figured it was just that it was no longer a sticky, but when I sorted by 'recent post', it didn't show up back to May (unless I missed it). I think there have been posts since then.

Third, the advanced search option doesn't seem to work. I searched for single words, and always got 0 posts.

So is something messed up? Did the sticky go to never never land? And how do we contact a moderator? The search has always been bad, but this is ridiculous.

Anyone else had any problems?

I noticed that too when I went on earlier. I don't mean any offence but I would be glad to see that discounts thread gone, because I'm sick of it.

Actually it's right there at the top of the page now. Maybe it was temporarily misplaced.

As for reaching a moderator, just go onto any thread and click on the yellow triangle on any response. It's a report abuse button but in fact it goes straight to the moderators.

I haven't tried the advance search.

I'm not offended that you are sick of the sticky, but I'm sort of surprised it bothers you. One of the problems with stickies is that people literally stop seeing them. I think somewhere along the line someone posted asking if there were any senior discounts related to travel.

I guess it was some sort of update of the software gone bad.
