Saga , Sun Holidays, and Grand Circle Travel all do this type of travel with good prices . You can also do this on your own, just google and search for apts to rent short time, find your airfare and go

Tenerife is a cheap, short flight from UK and has excellent winter weather - hence the large Brit population at that time. That said, temperature is relevant. We see many Brits and Germans on the Costa Blanca wearing tee shirts and shorts from Nov to Feb, while we are in sheepskin jackets and thermals!
