Has anyone volunteered or does anyone know about the Open Minds project in Phou Khao Khouai? My husband and I are going to spend an 8 wk sabbatical in Laos from Jan-Mar 09 and would like to kick it off by volunteering for 2 wks. This project looks interesting but I would like to hear from anyone who has done it or something similar.

Linda: Did a 2-week volunteer program trip to Ecuador in 2002. We worked with a daycare center/school helping them build the foundation for a new school. It was a wonderful experience. The program was sponsored by Global Volunteers. Would highly recommend such a trip!
