I've Done It Again!

Hey jb - I might run into you at the airport on the 8th as we will be flying on to that Solomons that day - unfortunately our flight is early in the morning so the chances are slim! It's interesting how many of us will be in Fiji around the same time - I'll miss you watsoff by a few days as we arrive on the 2nd - would love to have had that coffee with you. Hope you are mending well and still getting to enjoy your time in Fiji!

Go_2 - you're on!! Almost everything has healed, rather surprisingly considering.... Yesterday I bought myself a walking cane carved in a local villlage - just in case. In case of what I'm not sure, but it might help me get across the Incheon airport in time to catch the flight home. Or it might not. Got that idea from OzzieG.

JB - Had a wonderfully relaxing time on Nananu i Ra, but boy you were so right about the wind! Only felt hot after walking over that hill to the other side.

Ozzie - my sunglasses were also so bent out of shape I had to buy another pair in Nadi, yesterday. Not sure ice is safe substitute for me:-)

newfie - Yeah, too bad about the timing, you're already 'home' in Solomons. I'm sooo jealous!!! Kiss the SI ground for me please :-)

Hi Watsoff, did you go up the other hill from the empty resort further around, there are great views from there as well, I left Nadi Sat night and now in NYC, back in Nadi early on 5th and then a couple of days in Suva before returning back to Brisbane on 8th leaving in the afternoon.

Unfortunately I didn't 'do' the hill, the toe (from the fall) was still hurting which made walking too far a bit difficult. I did walk across from MacDonald's to the Safari Lodge, though, several times. Too bad we missed meeting in Nadi, I arrived back from Rakiraki on Saturday afternoon!

Hi Watsoff, just checking in - I haven't had much internet access for the last 10 days. Newfie, I'm jealous, but I am getting a week in SI in October.
