What ships and islands can people recommend for older travellers?

I was on the Angelique last October (I'm 73) that had 16 passengers. It was about 'middle' cost. I think they're all OK for 'older' travelers, except, perhaps the bottom rung(s), cost-wise.

We did a Galapagos cruise last year. Booked throughAdventure Travel in Sydney, who use Galapagos Travel within Ecuador. Our beautiful cruiser was the Tip Top 1V, and we could not fault it. Modern, very comfortable, excellent service and very friendly crew. We had an 11 day trip and visited nearly every island. It was a magnificent trip, there were only 12 of us on board which made it seem more like a group of good friends.
Some of the others went on to Easter Island afterwards.

We sailed in February on the Mary Anne, and had a wonderful time. It was a week long cruise, and we saw almost everything there is to see. There were only 12 on board, we had an outstanding guide, and had absolutely no complaints or quibbles. The Mary Anne has to be the most beautiful boat sailing the Galapagos. We booked thru Happy Gringo in Quito.

The Mary Anne is in the higher price bracket, but we felt that it was money well spent. Later in the Amazon we met 2 Irish guys who had been on the Daphne for a week, and they raved about it. It is a less expensive option.

What are the best months for the Galapagos, while we're on the subject. Any to avoid?
