After a career in traditional publishing, I'm hoping to reinvent myself as a travel blogger. More than anything, it is also because as a woman who really enjoys traveling solo (how else do I get 'me' time with an over-indulged husband/!),

I find blogging is a great way to center... as an award-winning travel photographer, I always found photography was a passport into another culture.

I would love to get some feedback from other Baby Boomers - how do you like the site? what suggestions can you offer to target it to us 'Seasoned Souls" (isn't that more affirming than "Seniors"?!) Take a look here: http://www.flashnomad.com

Well, I like it, but your link takes way too long to load, and as an active member of the Old Farts Club I recommend you speed things up a little.

I agree its very, very slow to load, and I really can't get to see the pics at all properly - that smile box thingy played some loud music and I shut it immediately.

when I looked again - you have most of your content on a 3rd party site - don't do that - I'd add a (c) watermark too - because you have nice photos they will get stolen

If your focus is the images - and I assume it is because the words are minimal - then you need a wide theme particularly dark - Gary does it well here http://everything-everywhere.com/ on one of the popular blogs.

You should also change your perma-link structure from the default to %postname%

Pretty ordinary I thought, until I reached the bull fighting bit and then I just though...HOW REVOLTING!
Sorry,I won't be bothering again nor will I recommend it to anyone know.I'm sure the bulls will be delighted to know they have been posthumously rewarded with a place on your uncivilised blog.....shame on you.
