I just picked up my e-ticket to London (UK, not Ontario) for December to February. Will be spending Christmas with my former husband (and best bud) and our son who has been working over there; he's getting ready to hit the road again. This will be our first Christmas together as a family since 1976, so should be a fun event (keeping fingers crossed; London is not high on my list of places I like to visit, especially in winter). If my luck holds out (it doesn't very often) I might pop over to visit a friend in Stockholm as well. We'll see.

So, I'm sort of getting excited.

It is more than super to see that 'they' are permitting you to travel such a distance.
So NEXT year it will be the Solomons for sure !
Have an absolutely fabulous time Watsoff.

Enjoy the London visit, Watsoff. It is a city that has so much to offer, even in winter.

I absolutely LOVE London in the winter. It's a fabulous city regardless of the weather. Have a wonderful time and don't forget your coat, scarf, beanie and gloves.

And don't forget your money. London is not cheap.

Actually nowhere in winter is on my must do list, and I'm not a city person either. London in winter is almost worse than Vancouver in winter, or at least so much of a muchness it makes no difference, but I am determined to enjoy it nonetheless. Good reminder though, I had forgotten about packing a scarf and gloves. Will put them aside right now!

Hehehe Baz, I know. Luckily accommodation and everything else is laid on.

Just spoke to the two of them this morning and am getting quite excited - they want me to bring my Havana Club rum from Cuba that I haven't opened yet and I can't think of a better way to enjoy it.

Hey - sounds good. But anywhere would sound good to me right now.
