In general the worse advises are the ones I don't ask for and given bij people who think they know better than me how I should run my life

The Worst: To buy technology mutual funds in January of 2000.

And the Second Worst Advice was in June of 2000: "Don't sell those technology mutual funds you purchased in January because the high tech funds will go back up soon" (Yeah, Right, 7 1/2 years later they are still down more than 50 percent.)

Or, from your mother (subtle coersion): "It would make me so happy if you would .........."

But there is one piece of advice NO ONE has hit me with:
