I'm booking a tour in Wadi Rum for 2 weeks' time for myself and my friend, with jeep your, camels, trekking, and overnight stay for 2 nights. A tour guide has offered me a choice of 3 options for the trekking part: Burdah Rock Bridge, Jebel Khasch, or Um Adaami. I wondered if anyone had advice on which of these you would recommend going for? My friend and I are relatively fit and healthy for trekking, and it is our first time in Jordan so weare looking for a good taste of Wadi Rum.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi everyone,
I have three months (or more) ‘spare’ from July and I was thinking of travelling from Iran to Turkey overland, concentrating on the north of Iran (I have already done the highlights on a previous trip), Armenia, Georgia, and Eastern Turkey (again, I’ve done the highlights albeit many years ago).
I’m looking for any comments or input from your own experiences.
Also, a couple of general questions:
. I’m a solo female - is it any tougher than other countries?
. Anything specifically…
Any comments about, or suggestions for visiting Choqa Zanbil?
Also: my impression is that this is far enough away from the Iraqi border for safety to not be an issue. True?
I am trying to get clarity on how long the eVisa process (Visa-on-arrival process) actually takes, even how it actually is done.
Can anyone who recently entered Iran as a tourist using the eVisa process hosted at https://evisatraveller.mfa.ir tell me how the process worked for them? It would help if you could give the country you are from, the airport you entered Iran (and ideally the airport you travelled to Iran).
I am intending to fly to Shiraz from Qatar. I intend to leave Iran overland…
Has anyone gone the route of going from Amman up to the Jordan River Crossing, across into Israel, then up to Capernaum by bus from Beit She'an? I could go the natural route across to Jerusalem and then take a direct bus, but I figure crossing into Israel at the Jordan river crossing will be quicker red tape wise, is more directly en route to Capernaum, and makes the trip more interesting as a circuitous route rather than the there and back scenario from Jerusalem. It also saves me the hassle of…
Does anyone know if it's possible to apply for a visa while abroad? I'm American and currently in Europe, thinking about heading to Lebanon in October.
Hi all,
I am travelling in late August around Jordan, and I am planning to book a car. Does anyone know the road conditions? Is a city car good enough?
I will do Amman, Jerash, Wadi Dana, Petra and Wadi Rum (in Wadi Rum I will book a camping and a jeep tour).
Thanks,
Stefano
