I would give you mine, but since I've been here I've probably only been to five places in total, so it wouldn't be worth much.
Seeking information about the Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa in Dubai. Has anyone stayed there? Is it in a good location? Would anyone recommend it or not? The rates for this Hotel seem a little low for Dubai Hence the questions Regards

I'll be there in November and would like to do a little shopping, I've found some sites from Dubai that sell bikes but they don't list their prices.

With airfare being outrageously high, my hotel can only be in the budget category. I have narrowed it down to Nihal or Hotel Versailles. Please any comments or better choice??
Just giving a heads-up on the Dubai Youth Hostel. Stayed there for one night in July. There seems to be mixed opinions about the hostel but I had a fairly positive experience.
The hostel is housed in a large compound. There's a outdoor swimming pool, which I wasn't in the mood for due to it being a hundred degrees Celsius outside and apparently a gym as well. I (German) and my Czech girlfriend will have a stopover in Dubai for 2 days in October. As a Czech citizen she is not eligible for the easy on-arrival visa so we applied for the 96h transit visa at our airline (Emirates). We were told the visa can only be applied 4 weeks prior to the transit. Applied on time and still waiting.
Starting to worry a bit if there is no chance to obtain the 96h transit visa Dubai airport in case Emirates screws up providing the visa.
Any experiences?
