Hello,

But does anyone know when it will be effective? We are travelling on May 10th and are praying that we won't need a visa by then... But can't find any news if it is effective now, or what date it will be effective. I tried to reach UAE embassy without success.

Vague hand-shake diplomatic deals can take awhile to turn into real policy so don't expect to don your hockey skates, visa-free, at the Dubai Mall right away. Still time to drink lots of Tims before the advance visa is consigned to the trash can where it belongs.

Best contact the UAE Embassy to get confirmation on visa changed rules.

If visa rules has not taking place then you have few option to apply

1, Emirates Airlines
2. UAE Embassy
