my girlfriend and I are going on vacation to the Maldives in January and we are having a stop-over for two days in Dubai before. We thought to update our water sports equipment (flippers, mask, snorkel etc.) in Dubai since the selection in Europe right now (it’s winter) is a bit poor and the prices on the resort on the Maldives might be very expensive. But when looking into several travel guides, I could find huge shopping sections but there were never any sports shops mentioned. Can anyone recommend a good sports shop in Dubai? Or are there simply so many that it’s even not necessary to highlight one? How are the prices, e.g. compared to Central Europe?
