I'm flying this route in three days and was wondering if I can change HK dollars to Dirhams, or I better change HK dollars to US dollars and change them for Dirhams, thanks in advance.

Yes you can change HKD to Dirhams in Dubai.There is no need to change you money to USD and loose twice on the exchange.

Hi.

It is better to have 100 US dollars with yourself , and you can change the rest of your money to Dirhams on the exchange office at the airport.

And it's even better to use an ATM.

change HK dollars to US dollars and change them for Dirhams,

IN that case you lose money twice- You're effectively throwing away 10-15% of the money.

Yes you can change your Hong Kong dollar to Dubai Dirham.You don't need to convert it in USD.You can change it on airport or if your traveling in Dubai, you can contact local banks, they will help you to exchange your currency to Dirham.
