I will be on stopover in Dubai for one full day on 7 November.
Am interested to see the old Dubai and the natural scenery - but not the desert safari because I don't think will be strong enough to take the 4WD sand dune ride.
Can anybody recommend something worthwhile seeing ?
Natural scenery in a desert IS the desert OP. What are your interests ? If you are into shopping - tips in 2 above. Malls galore with the Dubai Mall perhaps the best.
Else some out of the way things : to see the flamingos in Ras al Khor, http://www.wildlife.ae/en/ . Best time to go is early morning
Do take an abra ride down the creek : will cost you about AED 100 : but is worth it. The floating bridge has cut off 2 km off the ride, but still worth it.
