in dubai where is the best place to buy iranian carpets and get the best deal? any info on shipping back to us?

One of the best places is upstairs in the Blue Souk (On Khalid Lagoon) in Sharjah - there are lots of smallish shops there, and between them they have a fabulous range of stuff to choose from in a very concentrated area. Its a bit of a drag going all the way over to Sharjah just for the carpets, but I cant think of anywhere in Dubai that comes even close to the amount of choice and variety.
Most of the shops will ship for you.
