I would like to see a camel race next February somewhere in the Emirates.
I'm planning for a few days' round trip there. As I have no car, the options are limited.
Which racing place can I reach by taxi from one of the central cities without being ruined? - I suppose that a bus is out of question.
Will I need to book an entrance ticket ahead?
Is it acceptable to go there as a single Western woman ? - I guess that I'll not find many women there :-o. (By the way I'm used to travelling in the Middle East and know how to dress and behave).

All the information you need is there & the link on that page. You should be able to get there by taxi for no more than 50 AED from the city centre. Haven't visited myself so I cannot tell you about the rest!
