Hi,

I am trying to buy online tickets from Dubai to London and back. However, I am an Indian and will be in Dubai on a multiple entry visa. Can i purchase these tickets or will I have to be a resident of the UAE / work permit holder before I can purchase tickets and fly from and back to Dubai.

Thanks for help.

Cheers!!

I don't think you will have any problem buying the ticket in Dubai.

The thing that you need to check is which documents you will need to have when you initially fly to Dubai (before you have purchased the ticket to London). For example, when you check-in for your flight to Dubai, your airline may ask you for proof that will be leaving the UAE within the validity period of your visa. Immigration at Dubai may also ask for the same proof.

I don't know the answer to this myself, so you will need to check it with the airline / consulate first. Then you can decide whether it is OK to buy the ticket to London when you are in Dubai, or whether you will need to buy it before you get to Dubai.

Yes you can.

Since you have a multiple entry visa, you can fly to Dubai and spend few days in Dubai (depends on your visa expiry) and fly to London without any problem. At Dubai Airport the immigration will only check if you have a valid visa in UAE.

Many of my friends come to visit me here in Dubai for few days then travel to another country without any trouble.

Hope this helps!
