Best ways to get from Bur Dubai to Yas Island?

I need to get to a hotel on Yas Island right outside of Abu Dhabi.

I think my options are

  1. bus from Al Ghubaiba bus station to Abu Dhabi
  2. taxi from Dubai to Yas Island

Are there any affordable taxis? I heard there was an Al Ghazal one but you have to find it at he bus station.
Are there any bus stops near Yas Island?

Hi, I think you might as well get a taxi door to door. This will cost you around Dhs200-250 I should think. Whilst I don't have first hand knowledge of the buses I doubt any of them will drop you right outside your hotel on Yas and you certainly don't want to be wandering around in this heat. You could get the bus all the way into AD and then a taxi to Yas but you will be coming back on yourself.

Taxi it is . Yas is slightly off the main road along which buses travel.
