Dear All
I will soon go to Dubai for 6 days.
I have read lots of comments from other travellers that there are great all you can eat buffets (both for brunch and dinner) and some of them do not cost too much.
I have made a search, but I have not found any which is below 50 - 60 euro.
Am I doing the wrong search, or are 50 - 60 euro not much in Dubai?

If anybody could recommend all you can eat buffets for a cheaper price, I would be very grateful (I do not mind if alcoholic drinks are not included... since I drink no alcohol)
I will stay at Dubai Marina, but we will of course also visit other parts of Dubai.
Thank you!!!

I don't know about the buffets, but Indian restaurants in Dubai are terrific and not expensive at all. When I lived in Sharjah I was ready to divorce my husband and marry the local Punjabi joint.

These buffets are most popular for Friday brunch.

You could check the prices and reviews for the Friday brunch at the Dusit Thani Hotel. There is also Al Dawaar restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

I think the prices will be a bit less than the 50 to 60 Euros you have found so far. However, both of these hotels are at the opposite end of the city to the Marina.

Many Indian/Pakistani restaurants have an all you can eat lunch buffet during lunchtime. These won't be the cheaper cafeteria style places but mainstream restaurants. No alcohol. Sometimes one soda is provided otherwise you buy your own drinks. Rates anywhere from 35 to 100 AED.

These buffet specials generally only happen on Fridays and rarely during the week.

You're doing the wrong search...probably only looking at the 5-star buffets :)

Regular buffets - indian, pakistani, chinese, lebanese - will not cost you more than AED 50 (10euros). In fact, some restaurants it's possible to have a complete meal for as low as 2-3 euros - and it's hygienic and delicious :)

Best areas for food are: Bur Dubai, Satwa, Deira and Karama - in effect, the old part of Dubai. Marina is posh, and hence high-priced.

Peace and Love :)
