Is how to catch the fan in Oman and Emirates, some youthful euphemism that I have yet to hear about, due to my very sheltered northern European upbringing? Or do you in fact teach, how to catch the fan (both ceiling and exhaust) when they have already fallen? And is this due to some technical local faulty installation fitting problem, specific only to issues in the Gulf States? Finally will my non travel related response in fact pass the scrutiny of the moderators? Questions, questions.

I'd rather go dune bashing than fan catching but each to his own unique kind of adventure... lol
