Hi everyone, I am travelling to Dubai in November & I am trying to book a hotel before I leave Australia but finding something central (Bur Dubai or Diera) on the internet with good reviews, a pool & under $200 USD seems impossible. Any help greatly apprieciated. Realy i just want a double beded room with ensuite & a hotel pool - in a central or beach area for a reasonable price.
I can't get over how expensive the Accomodation is in Dubai. It looks like Dubai is going to cost me more per night then even Venice!!!

The Novotel near world trade centre is about $200 a night

The issue with hotel here is that a HUGE number do not have websites except for the most expensive so I would book a room for a night or two and then get a taxi driver to take you to a place in your price range.The taxi drivers are a wealth of info most times so just tell them what you are looking for and the price in Dirhams you want to pay.

I recommend Novotel or Ibis. They are attached to each other. While Ibis is slightly cheaper though the quality is very good. I have very good experience with them. And I believe you can use the pool from novotel or just use the free transportation to the nearest Jumeirah Beach Club.
