With 8 full days, I can cover quite a bit of ground. I am willing to go as far as Abu Dhabi in the sw to the Musandam Peninsula in the N to the region surrounding Muscat in Oman. My current to do list is.
Burj Khalifa - go to the top, come back for the fountains
Burj Al Arab - How much would it cost for a drink or two at the sky bar? Do you think it's worth it?
Ski Dubai
Scuba dive 1 day - thoughts about muscat, Fujairah, muscat for sea life and clarity
Spice market - using the quaint water taxi across Dubai Creek
Overnight in the desert - Is overnight worth it, or wil a sunset drive and bbq suffice? Who to use and why?
Ferrari World
Possibly Wadi Shab, Al Hoota Caves (if open) Western Hajar Mtns in Oman - If I did this I would probably spend the night in muscat.
Grande Mosque in Abu Dhabi
What else would you recommend. I'll have my own transport for convenience. What essentials am I missing?
