Hello,
I got a great deal on a new Air Asia route from KL to AUH. Unfortunately it arrives at 1:30 in the morning and my connection to Cairo doesn't depart until 15:50. Is it comfortable to sleep in the airport such as on a bench?
Is there a transit hotel there? One that isn't expensive?
Is it worth leaving the airport to go see something?
This will be my first...maybe last...time in UAE.If there something worth seing there I would like to.
If I leave the airport is there a place to leave luggage there?
Thanks for your advice!

Eid greetings from Pakistan,

It is a busy and noisy airport, I'd a 5 hrs stopover there.

I've not seen any benh but there are chairs and you could realx on them.

Or go out.

Bon voyage,

Yes,I appreciate your preview of Pakistan.
But I still need help on my posted question which is information on what I can do at or from the AUH airport in regards to my 15 hour layover.
Thanks for your reply!

Welcome.
Cross-post it on some other threads, travel companions, Indian Sub-continet etc. though it's not related but it's a stopover for most of the destinations.

Bon voyage,

I'd a 18 hrs stopover coming back from France, en route for Peshawar, Pakistan, by Etihad but there was a 5 star hotel and pick-drop for me from the airline, I arrived at AUH, some 7:30 in the morning and my flight was at midnight.

I was waiting for the car, in the meanwhile, I heard there was a flight for Islamabad at 9:00 AM, so I requested them and they gave me a seat, that was a business class, I enjoyed the champagne and arrived in Islamabad.
