What to do in Wadi Rum in two days (three nights) w/ own tent

Country forums / Middle East / Jordan

Hi,
we will come to wadi rum early in the morning and would have two days leaving at morning on the third day (early August). I love desert, but we are on a budget, that is why we have our own tent. So what would you recommend?
Like best mix of services and places to see there for our money (which are "limited" to say approximately 100 EUR each). Depending on services and places it could vary between 50 and 120 EUR I think - per person.
Thank you for any tips and recomendations in advance!
N.

I am no expert on Wadi Rum, but if you look at prices including or excluding overnight stay you will realise that staying in a Beduin tent overnight will only cost you 10 JOD more, and that includes food. And you will get to sleep in the desert proper as opposed to the place you can pitch your own tent.

Have you checked jordanjubilee website?

Look at the itineraries offered by the recommended guides, prices are quite similar and they are quite reasonable, but I am not sure if you budget will stretch to 3 days.
