Taurus Express

Having read so much about visa stories from travellers crossing into Syria overland by bus, I have not yet read anything regarding visa complications involving overland crossing via the Taurus Expres train?

Does no news mean good news ? I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the crossing and getting their visa checked at the train border point ?

Getting a visa at the border (train or any other) depends on Nationality, either way since you will be getting the train in Istanbul why not save the worry and get one there before you leave.
It is an easy pleasent trip, take plenty of food and drink etc since not much chance to get any on route-a good book will help too.
