Hi Folks, I am new to the TT community. But really looking forward to meet new people while hosting people at my place as well as while travelling abroad. I am travelling to jordan from 25th oct - 30th Oct. It would be a budget trip and i would request if any of you guys can help me planning an itinerary for 4 days.. If somebody is travelling at same time , would be happy to meet and travel together. Thanks VJ Edited by: vipmbe

Hi vipmbe! I suggest you to choose two of these four for you travel planning. Madaba is a very nice city for arrival in Jordan. This small town is located only 18 km from the Queen Alia airport. I would suggest staying overnight at Mariam Hotel. This is a two star hotel only according to the official rating system but the service minded and helpful staff at this hotel can make a great difference for your travelling in Jordan. From Madaba you can easily see the Dead Sea area, Jerash, Golan Heghts, desert castles by taxi or rental car. Mariam hotel has excellent discounts on all taxi fares. You can combine Madaba with some of the southern destinations for about two to two and a half days tours. This can still be done by taxi but it's probably cheaper to rent a car. Hey, I can recommend a driver from my trip (and my itinerary, which was basically four days) but it depends on how budget your budget trip is - you can save a lot of money using service taxis and buses, but if you're pressed for time and want to see as much as possible it's worth considering a private driver so that you can maximize your time. | 4
