Salalah in South Oman for Eid - camping, driving, hiking, photography

hi folks,

I've booked a flight to Salalah to see the lush greenery of their Summer Season from Tuesday to Saturday next week and am interested in meeting anyone who's also going to visit over that time.

Thurs should be off for Eid, and i'm taking one and a bit days in lieu to go early. There's flights from Dubai with Fly Dubai and from Sharjah with AirArabia at different times and days.

I'll ritz it in the Crowne Plaza for the first night and then spend 3 nights camping - one night each on the beach, in the mountains and in the desert, before having a day pass again in a nice hotel before flying back.

If you're into stunning scenery and hopefully wildlife to photo, and meeting up over a beer, a meal, a trail or camplight, then yell :-)
