Road condition

We are planning a holiday to Oman in November and will use Muscat as our base for a few days then drive up the coast to Sohar for 3 days. We would then like to visit Nizwa before we returning to Muscat. Can anyone tell me if the road surface from Al Khabourah to Sadam and then on to Mishkin is a tarred surface. We will be driving a Ford Focus or similar.

Hello,

When I did that drive 3 years ago it was a piece of cake. Most of the main roads in Oman are very well taken care of. We drove the length and width of the entire nation and did not have a single problem.
