Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a bus service available where I can travel directly from Jerusalem to Dahab?

No. You have to take the Jerusalem -> Eilat bus (4.5 hours), then a short 5-10 minute taxi/bus ride to the border, cross on foot, then take a bus or taxi on the Egyptian side.

but note that from September 1 there may be changes in the times. And if you are planning on doing this trip in late September, note that there will be no buses at all from Jerusalem to Eilat on Sunday September 20 - second day of Rosh Hashana (New Year), which is like a Saturday as far as public transport is concerned, and no buses from around midday on Sunday September 27 until Tuesday morning September 29 because of Yom Kippur.
