Jerusalem Old City Hotel Recommendations

Just wondering if anyone has good recommendations for a moderate price hotel in the old city. I'll be arriving Sept 19 and departing on the 23rd.

Try the Imperial at Jaffa Gate. Very central location!

The Imperial is very well priced and is in an excellent location being at Jaffa Gate. However I found cleanliness and quality of the room to be below the standard i'd normally expect from a decent hostel. I had an issue with service as well but i wont get into that.

I also found it extremely difficult to get to sleep at night thanks to the Shisha bar immediately below my room which played very loud music well into the night. You get what you pay for and it is by no means a bad deal, but if you'd prefer a little more comfort you may wish to spend a little extra.

Please be aware that the Rosh Hashana holiday is September 19th and 20th, where everything is shut down in West Jerusalem
