Idle days in Tehran and NEW ZEALAND EMBASSY PHONE NUMBERS

Ramazan is over! Yay! The embassies are having long weekends. Whoops.

Indian visas - the man at the Indian embassy told me they only issue visas for arrival in India by air, and to try applying in Lahore instead. Hmmm. I'll ask in Zahedan on the way through, though the thought of spending five days there is not appealing.

Pakistan visas - well, I haven't been able to apply yet due to an extra-long weekend due to Ramazan ending (did I mention how happy the end of Ramazan makes me?). I did get my LOI from the NZ embassy, a snip at just 360,000 riyals. Maybe I should have waited to apply for my visa in Zahedan as the LP says the LOI isn't required there.
