Amman Hotels - which one to choose?

Country forums / Middle East / Jordan

Hello,

Straight to the point:

  • Arena Amman
  • Arena Space
  • Al Dana

Anyone ever stayed at any of those hotels? Which one do you think is the best? We're planning to go in the end of this month (or maybe beginning of March), what kind of weather can we expect?

Thanks!

Arena Amman - just off one of the busiest streets (Gardens Street)
I believe its 4 star but more like 3. However, the convenient location
makes up for any short-comings. Surrounded by restaurants, shops
cafes, etc.

Arena Space (same owner) as above is located on the University St
or otherwise known as Queen Rania Street. It was modernised about
2 years ago and the rooms are good when I last saw them. Nice lobby
area helpful staff. A quiet hotel albeit on a main road.

Al Dana - is situated right on the 6th circle and on the main road. It
is a nice hotel with indoor pool and health club. Its more of a 4 star
It is a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area of Sweifiyeh and a
1 minute walk to Burger King / Hardy's. I last visited 3 years ago
and it was very good then.

If you ask me about best - it would have to be in this order because
there is a big difference in price. 1. Al Dana (around $95) 2. Arena Amman
(approx $75) 3. Arena Space (approx $65) Maybe you can get a deal
on the internet better than this.

Beginning of March should be nice weather with coldish evenings.

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, upon browsing through reviews, I read soooo many negative feedbacks on Al Dana, so it's out of our list. But I found another (seemingly) reasonably good hotel, "Days Inn" (no reviews on Arena/Arena Space, though). Been there as well?

Thank you!
