I understand that food opinions can be extremely personal ... but here goes... I can honestly say that eating at Al-Andalib restaurant (recommended in LP) was my worst dining experience, anywhere in the world! Terrible food and terrible service (including when the waiter walked over to our table, picked up the ketchup, and squirted it all over our food!!) ..... it was so surreal, we could only laugh. Think 10 times before going here. On the other hand, we had the best meal of our travels, with excellent service from owner/manager?, at the Bazar Al-Charq restaurant (also in LP). Service was great, and the food was excellent (especially the Kibbeh and the cherry kebab). Also ate at Beit Sissi ..... very nice setting/decor ..... but perhaps a bit stuffy. We ate some similar foods (kibbeh and cherry kebab) and also sojuk (sp?) which was really good. But overall I thought the food at Al-Charq was better, and a good bit less expensive too. just my 2 cents | ||
