a night in the dsert

Hi,
I'll visit Dubai in october and intend to spend a night in the desert.
I've already gotten some information about travel agencies that offer this service, but i would like to have the opinion from people who had this experience...could you help me? Tell me your fellings about it, and, if possible, the agency you have hired.

Hi, there are a lot of tour companies who do this and the main ones are Arabian Adventures, Lama Tours and Gulf Holidays. There are 2 types of desert safaries, one is with dinner and then they bring you back to your hotel by 10.30 -11 pm the other is an overnighter. Both are great and worth experiencing. Just remember that the desert can get a bit chilly during the night so be prepared.

I did an afternoon/evening tour with Arabian Adventures, booked through Emirates.
Included are pick up/drop off, dune bashing, photo ops., water, soft drinks, dinner buffet with Arabian style food, belly dancing except during ramadan.
It was well worth the money, if you like desert landscapes and good local food.
