I am in Syria now and would like to make a phone call from my mobile.
What to dial before country code?
I have tried 00 then country code number and 0 then country code number.
But both are not working. Please help me.
It shows MTN on my mobile.

Thanks a lot

My guess would be to dial

the plus sign (+), then the country code, area/city code, and then the number

ex: for calling Belgium, the number would be +32 x xxx xx xx (drop the leading 0 before the city/area code)

Dear dow204,

Thanks for the reply.
I tried this also, but still not working.
I did drop the leading 0 before city code.

Thanks a lot.

Are you sure your SIM card allows for international dialing? It may not. You may need to contact your service provider to enable international calling.
