Visa at Turkey/Syria border for Swiss passport holders

I've read all of the threads about obtaining a visa at the Turkey/Syria border. So far I haven't found any reports of Swiss citizens having tried to get a visa at the border. Does anyone know if that i possible? Even though Switzerland is not a EU-Country?

Marcopolo's correct. Visa on arrival, no problem for Swiss passport holders.

@livmtc, hi, i am also from switzerland and at the moment in georgia.. i m traveling by car and we're heading to syria.... still we didn't get a visa and i am wondering if it was working out to get the visa directly at the border because if it's realy like that, we will drive directly down to syria without going to ankara to aply for a visa.. the disel in turkey is so expensive =) so would be nice to know.. greats
