Hello!
Here's another visa question..sorry sorry!! hehe
This will be my second visit to Syria this coming december. In 2008, I applied in my country, canada, for a multiple entries visa. This time i'll be in Turkey for the holidays and just thougt of going to Syria a few days to see some friends. Anyone has an experience with the border south of Gaziantep for the visa at the border? Will I wait few hours? I'm a solo female traveler and don't want to be turned away at the border! I speak a little arabic and a friend of mine will wait for me at the other side of the border!

Canadian passport holders do get visa entering Syria by land from Turkey no hassle normal waiting time half hour.

Got my visa At Bab-Ul-Hawa last`week 6hr's American. Other countrys are getting within one to 2hr.

Now i'm wandering if I use my romanian passeport since it's free visa for EU citizen in Turkey, would it be ok to use it in Syria or canadian one is faster!? If anyone has an answer!?

Yes I know that for Syria I need a visa, not for Turkey., but regarding the waiting time, will the romanian passport will take longer at the border? Can I enter and exit Turkey with Romanian passport then use the canadian one to enter Syria? Sorry for all these questions. It's my first time with 2 passport! Thanks for taking the time to answer!

All EU nationals are treated same when it comes to getting visa at border crossing.Normal waiting time half hour.If borders are busy with traffic it could take a bit longer.I crossed those borders ten times by bus and taxi never over one hour waiting.on each side.
