Hi, I'm a UK citizen currently in Central Asia. I'm planning to travel to Syria in mid-November, however was unable to apply for a visa in Britain because I left more than 3 months before my intended entry. I'm flying to Cairo in October, and was hoping to apply for my visa there. However, LP informs me this may be a bit tricky, and it seems next to impossible for US nationals from what I hear. Does anyone know if it is possible for a Brit, and what the requirements are? Please help!
Alternatively, I'll be in Tehran in about a month- if it proves impossible to apply in Cairo, is it possible to apply there, and how difficult is it?
