Dear friends,
I've heard that it is very easy to get a Syrian Visa in Cairo(no letter of recommendation). As I will visit Cairo on the 8th of May I've thought of getting a visa there, as I'm on holiday and I won't need any extra days to go to the Syrian Embassy in Vienna(they are working on mornings only, and I am in the office!). Is this possible? I have planned to go to Damaskus(by plane) on the 13th of June so there will be more than one month in advanve(leaving Kairo on the 12th of May). There is a piece of information in the lonely planet that the Syrian visas issued in Cairo are valid only for presentation within one month.
