Does anyone around here know more about the Silk Road Festival in Syria? Only thing I could find is that it will take place from 8-13 October in some major cities in Syria. I would love to know more about performances, dates, times and places. Around that time I will be crossing the border between Syria and Jordan, but if this festival is worthwhile might stick around an extra day or so. Tourst Information website of Syria doesn't provide any extra information besides the date, so really any information is welcome.

If you're lucky, there will be information on the website around October 1st, according to my experience with Syrian tourist websites.
Last year I was in Palmyra just after the festival. There seemed to have been quite an big program there.
