Anybody gotten a visa for Syria in Beijing or Jakarta? I live in Thailand and will be heading to Beijing and possibly Indonesia before going to Syria and need a visa. No plans to go home first. I am an American if that helps.

Get it at the border - even for a US passport holder it's probably quicker, easier and cheaper than mucking around trying to get one in advance.
