hey everybody,

i'm considering a 10 to 14 day holiday to Syria in March/April 2010. i will probably travel in a group of 4 and we would be interested in taking a camel ride for a few days. i know that in Jordan there are caravans for tourists, but didn't find any in Syria so far.

any ideas??

I can put you in touch with right people/the desert dwellers/bedwins who can organise this sort of activity.You can take various routes and lengths ie descending to the Oasis of Palmyra in style some 10,20 or whatever kilometers.
