Hello guys!!
I'm a traveller currently in Sanli Urfa and I'm heading to Aleppo tomorrow morning.
The problem is that I have dropped my camera and the lens is completely shattered!
I wasn't able to take any pictures at all!
Any of you guys know where I can find a camera shop that deals old canon cameras?
I don't mind if I can get another old camera if the price is reasonable!
Hope you guys can help me with this.
I'll be also going to Damascus but it would be great if I can buy the lens or a new body asap.
Hope you guys here can help me out!
I have the Lonely planet middle east guide so it would be great if I can find it through the book!

I dnt know a lot about cameras and lenses ,but i think you can get in Syria pretty new good digi camera for around usd 200.,to get you going.

You can find lots of second hand camera shops here in Damascus, I am sure you can find something to keep you going for a while.
Aleppo should have some places too, I remember seeing a place on the corner of Rue Barons, heading right from the Barons hotel.
I have a freind in Urfa that can help you look there if you want to pm me.
