Going to Middle East Oct 2010. Will be there three full weeks. (in/out of Amman) I want to visit Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria and I was thinking a week in each. My MUST SEE list is short and I ask you to help me add to it. So far I have Petra, snorkeling at Aqaba, Beruit, Baalbek, Damascus. Where else and why? Luckily I have plenty of time to get people's opinion. Never too early to start. Very excited. Single solo male traveler, here. Mid budget. Thank you

I have traveled to Syria last October for 17 days I visited all the main sites of the country. The sites that I think are worth visiting are in order of importance: Damascus, Palmyra, the Euphrates Valley (Rasafa and Halabiyya), Aleppo, St. Simeon, Krac des Chevaliers castle, Salah ad-Din castle, Bosra, All these sites are beautiful and totally unmissable for anyone who wants to visit Syria.All these sites can be visited in one week itinerary.
