English football in Syria

A Norwegian Sheffield United fan-I thought only Man U fans came from Norway!
The English footie is available on Showtime Arabia (not Sky or sultana) and they do show some Championship games although if they clash with Premiership its unlikely, the Sheraton Hotel bar has in the past shown live football but am not sure if they do now, Its worth checking out most of the up-market hotels and coffee shops, if they have Showtime all you need to do is convince them watch the game you want.
Surely there is a branch of the Blades fan club in Damascus??

As the previous post said, there is a lot of football on Showtime.

Also, I saw live matches at Gemini in Damascus, off of Sharia Maysolun near the Egyptian and Jordanian embassies. Its more of a pizza place than a pub, but you can get a beer there.
