hi all. heading to syria next wednesday - very excited!! Just trying to put together a very rough itinerary. is it feasible to get from damascus to Krak de chevaliers and on to aleppo all in the one day??? or would it be too much of a rush?? better stay in homs for a night maybe??
any advice mush appreciated.

I guess this would be possible if you only have one day and start early, but it'd be a real shame to rush though. You'll need a taxi all to yourself and a willing driver! This won't be too hard to arrange.

If you do have more time, you should at least consider fitting in Palmyra - an amazing place.

Whatever you do you'll have a great trip, Syria is a fascinating place with wonderful people.

It is possible to do it in a day but it will be rush.If you have another day you could stop overnight at Hama and visit the surrounding ruins scattered between Hama and Aleppo.
Pakmyra is a bit far and out the way and require a one special day.
