anyone has any recommendations regarding budgetaccomodation (15 -30 us) in Damascus?. did contact Ghazal hotel but they were full (for single rooms at least) any other suggestions and how to contact them?al haramein hotel?e-mail?or any others,any info would be appreciated

In Damascus we've been in al majed hotel http://www.almajed-group.com/ via http://www.damascusroom.com/.
It's a 3 or 4 star hotel, but has a separate building with cheap but clean and nice rooms (w bathroom, air con). first we paid 30 EUR via online reservation, than 25 EUR - for a double. At the end of the trip we went back and it was 20 EUR for a night :)
