Hey again everyone,
So, my travelling partner banged his knee up pretty good in a nasty fall a few days ago. He's okay, just really swollen and reduced to a hobble for walking.
We're trying to make the best of it, we are being extremely well taken care of in the HOTEL CAIRO in Hama.
(You guys, the staff at hotel cairo are AMAZING, i would recommend EVERYONE to stay here. Not only do they arrange outings and tours for decent prices, but they have also been extremely accommodating for my injured friend, going above and beyond to care for him. We've been on the road for a while and I myself have stayed in countless places over my travelling years and the Cairo by far outshines most).
But, my real reason for posting this is pretty soon we are looking to head to Damascus, if my partner is feeling it. Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay with nice rooms - not damp, new mattresses, decent shower, not many stairs, etc? I am looking for him to be as comfortable as possible, we've been experiencing soft/lumpy beds, damp/cool rooms, lots of stairs, etc, and if possible id like to take steps to avoid this - hopefully with your help! Any contributions are so very much appreciated.
Thank you all VERY MUCH!
