Hi everyone,
I know this is a tired topic that some people don't like to see posted. But I have studied the temperatures and other climate information for these countries, along with Egypt, for February and March and really can't tell if it's a good time to visit.
I figure anything about 15 degrees (celsius) is totally comfortable for sightseeing and travelling. But can anyone tell me how they found the climate in these countries during this time of year? Will it be cook, but comfortable with a sweater or light jacket? Or does it get really miserable?
Any help or advice will be super useful.
Again, my apologies for talking about the weather...

The weather in February and early March should average around 15 degrees during the day, but it will get quite cold during the night (around 5 degrees). February is also the second-wettest month in Syria, and it can get quite miserable and rainy on occasion.

From mid-March, the weather starts improving pretty rapidly. I'd try and make your trip as late as possible.

The weather in April and May is absolutely glorious, and is probably the very best time to visit, if you're able. It'll be constantly sunny, around 25-30 degrees every day, the winter rains will have flushed out all the dust and haze from the atmosphere, there will still be snow on the mountains, and the spring flowers will be out all over the countryside. Heavenly.

If you absolutely have to go in February, then don't let the weather put you off. It won't be awful, and won't stop you sightseeing, but it just won't be as nice as it can be.

Just have a warm clothing option for at night. Last time I went was in August and compared to the humidity of Beirut even August in the dryer, inland heat of Syria was juts fine. If you get too chilly at night buy a sweater there to throw on under your jacket.
